BodhiTree - Crossing the gates of XLRI

Bodhi Tree, our very own band of senior students have a great achievement to their credit. They were adjudged runners up at XIMB's Decibelz 2005, an all-India rock contest. Other participants at the contest were professional bands while our Bodhi Tree was the only campus band.
BodhiTree also won the best vocalist and the best original composition 'Too Many Potatoes' dedicated to our very own "Mess", and a song which finds mass appeal in all hostelers. Another original composition at the event titled "Mist" was well received with the comment from Rahul Ram of the Indian Ocean fame who said, "it's time people started wrting songs about their experiences". Judges at the event were Indian Ocean and Atul Mittal (ex-silk route).
Bodhi Tree has also jammed with Skinny Alley and their most recent performances were at Wheels 2005 – Tata Motors GET Club Annual Fest and Waves 2005, which is an inter school musical festival across the city of Jamshedpur.
