Management graduates have to prepare themselves mentally once they step out of their institutes for, to become leaders, they need not luck but the mindset to seize opportunities that come their way.
“All depends on preparedness for seizing the opportunities,” Tata Sons director Dr J J Irani told the 186 managers who graduated from the Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) here.

MAROON AND yellow dominated the 48th Convocation ceremony of the Xavier's Labour Research Institute (XLRI) in Jamshedpur with 186 managers including the first executive batch from Dubai receiving their graduating degrees. The big news on the occasion, however, was the announcement that the institute's current director, Fr. P.D. Thomas, would be retiring from his post in April. He will be succeeded by Fr. Casimir Raj, the former director of XIM Bhubaneshwar.
